留學(xué)生

巴斯大學(xué)全校人數(shù)1.6萬，中國(guó)留學(xué)生超過2500人。每個(gè)學(xué)年開始之際，本校的國(guó)際辦公室都為留學(xué)生安排入校介紹活動(dòng)，它也包括機(jī)場(chǎng)接機(jī)服務(wù)。海外學(xué)生顧問（ISA）為新生安排熟悉環(huán)境活動(dòng)，并全年提供順便走訪的咨詢服務(wù)；學(xué)生可在保密的情況下，就影響他們的任何問題，得到信息和建議。學(xué)生常見的問題有移民、文化適應(yīng)與想家、就業(yè)法規(guī)、醫(yī)療保健和家庭支持。海外生辦公室全年都組織一系列名勝游覽和社交活動(dòng)。辦公室利用海外生電子郵件名單通知有關(guān)活動(dòng)的消息。

住宿信息

本科學(xué)生在第一學(xué)年可住在校內(nèi)宿舍。以前從未在巴斯大學(xué)求過學(xué)的“海外”管理學(xué)院研究生也可在學(xué)校宿舍里住36周。校內(nèi)有2000多個(gè)不提供伙食的宿舍，而在市中心另有可提供住宿的1000個(gè)宿舍。

宿舍房型分為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)間、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)帶洗手池標(biāo)準(zhǔn)大房間、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)間帶浴室與衛(wèi)生間、單人公寓間、雙人公寓間。有單性別和混合性別的公寓間，公用廚房和衛(wèi)生間。宿舍內(nèi)均有無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)。每個(gè)住宿區(qū)里都住著幾名住宿導(dǎo)師（一般為博士生），為所有的學(xué)生提供幫助和指導(dǎo)。

周邊交通

巴斯的交通經(jīng)常很擁堵，最好避免自己開車。很少有學(xué)生有車，而且很少有準(zhǔn)許停車的地。

出行方式

公交

一般單程票價(jià)1.5磅，有多次、月票、季票、年票可選。高峰時(shí)期發(fā)車間隔時(shí)間約為10分鐘，但由于堵車，實(shí)際到達(dá)時(shí)間不定。Wessex公司：U18，X18，U10路均可到達(dá)。一般早7:00-晚12:00均有服務(wù)。First公司：18路可到達(dá)。一般早5:00-半夜3:00均有服務(wù)。

出租

坐出租車從市中心到大學(xué)費(fèi)用是8.00英鎊。

火車

到Bristol的火車很便宜，有鐵路卡、團(tuán)體票的情況下5英鎊往返�；疖囃砩蠜]有車次，所以晚間出行不適合坐火車。坐出租回校的費(fèi)用是35英鎊。巴斯的學(xué)生會(huì)有一個(gè)長(zhǎng)途車服務(wù)，每周四晚上運(yùn)行，往返票價(jià)為8英鎊，其中包括了各種優(yōu)惠，比如進(jìn)入俱樂部。

Kate Howey MBE- One of Britain’s greatest judo players, she represented Great Britain at four Olympic Games; winning bronze at Barcelona in 1992 and silver in Sydney. She was selected to carry the British flag at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

Michael Jamieson- Michael won a silver medal for Scotland in the 200m breaststroke at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. This was followed by silver at the London 2012 Olympic Games – breaking the 200m breaststroke British record in all three of his swims.

Ben Rushgrove- Bronze medal winner in the T36 200m at the 2012 Paralympics, he won silver in the T36 100m event at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games.

Marilyn Okoro- 400m and 800m runner who made her Olympic debut in Beijing 2008 and represented England at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
